The piece was made for Gordon Dickson . Unlike the other pieces in this group, I made this without having opportunity to read a number of Gordy's books so there's no particular connection to his stories or themes. You'll just have to make it up as you go.

Technology as represented here is vaguely anthropomorphic but with a dry bone in the cranial space. Sturdy and ruggedly made but apparently broken, adept but with the hubris to believe it can set itself aright with a little reflection and probing.

About 14" tall, forged, raised and welded steel, forged copper, bone, brass, clockwork, epoxy.
